Montgomery County TEEN CERT training is an integral part of Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Services Volunteer Services, focused on disaster preparedness, awareness of county public safety programs, and encouragement of stronger community involvement..
The 42 hour training program is approved for Student Service Learning hours for ages 14-18. Pre-registration is required for the course which runs Wednesday nights 7-9 pm and Sunday afternoons 12:30-4:30pm at PSHQ, 100 Edison Park Drive, Gaithersburg, MD 20878. Course is free but space is limited. Attendance at all sessions is required for certification.
