Overview
Would you know what to do if a loved one suddenly collapses and becomes unresponsive, is not breathing and has no pulse? What if your coworker at a restaurant suffers a severe cut that is bleeding profusely, or a child at the dinner table begins to choke? Do you know the steps to take that would significantly influence positive outcomes. This seminar is designed to improve the resiliency of our communities by educating the public on these important life saving measures taught by our AHA-certified instructors. Learn to recognize cardiac arrest, activate emergency medical services, handle life threatening bleeds, intervene in choking events and respond appropriately in emergencies until more advanced emergency personnel arrives.

Montgomery CERT seeks to create more resilient communities through education on these life saving skills. This class is suitable for ages 16+. All minors MUST be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
